It is my usual practice to post mail I receive when I am in sympathy and agreement on the issue. I find it strange that religious people might consider torture acceptable. All that is required of us is to reflect on the torture inflicted on our Lord and Savior on the cross, and remember that each human being is in some sense him, and we would refuse under any circumstances to torture.
