Life News reports on efforts to grow human heats in the laboratory using not embryonic stem cells, but adult stem cells. As a consistent life proponent this gives me great cheer. If we can avoid the killing of embryonic cells in this way, maybe we can use our human intelligence in other ways to save human life by ending war, abortion, hunger, etc.
The article begins, "Scientists report that they are trying to grow live human hearts in the laboratory. Dr. Doris Taylor of the University of Minnesota presented her team’s latest work at the annual meeting of the American College of Cardiology over the weekend."
